Marti Gerardi . Probate Paralegal

Marti is a certified paralegal specializing in probate, conservatorship, guardianship and trust matters for over 34 years. Her office is highly recommended by attorneys as well as the Courts.  Marti continues her education through CEB, the Los Angeles Paralegal Association, Bar Associations and other related professional groups, and is on the El Camino College Paralegal Studies Advisory Committee.

Barbara Meskin . Paralegal 

Barbara has been a Probate Paralegal for 25 years and has worked with Marti for 20 of those years.  She received her Bachelor’s degree at the State University of New York, Oneonta.  She decided to become a paralegal when she moved to California and obtained her paralegal certification in 2000 at the University of West Los Angeles. Barbara is also a notary public.

 Taylor Lane . Paralegal 

Taylor received her Bachelor’s degree from California Baptist University in 2013 where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Encouraged by family members who are also in the legal field, she then obtained her paralegal certificate from the University of California, Irvine in 2015. Taylor started her legal career with a law firm representing homeowner associations before transitioning to probate and working for Marti 5 years ago. Taylor is also a notary public.

 Sandra Luna . Legal Assistant 

Sandra’s friendly voice is usually the one your hear when you call our office.  Sandra has worked for Marti Gerardi for 15 Years. Prior to working in probate, Sandra worked for over 15 years specializing in the worker's compensation area of law.

Teri Bowman . Accountant

Teri graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Accounting and began her career at Deloitte and Touche.  For the past 30 years, she has specialized in preparing our accountings for probate estates, conservatorships, guardianships and trusts.  Teri also provides bookkeeping and payroll processing services. 

Our service is unique in that we are able to “step in’ and assist you during workload peaks in preparing inventory and appraisals, accountings, sales of real property, or in managing the entire estate.  As necessary, we also prepare and file rush filings and clear probate notes.  With the need to meet the business changes of present economic times, attorneys have found our service cost effective to reduce their overhead and allowed them to cultivate new business that otherwise would not be practical for them to accept.
